ANDRE RENARD

Master Pastry Chef Andre Renard is one of the most recognized chefs
in the culinary world. He is a member of the Academie Culinaire, and was
chosen as one of the "Ten Best Pastry Chefs" in America by Chocolatier
Magazine
in 1994 and 1995. He has won countless awards in his field over
the last 35 years, in the US and France. He has done special events, from
Bill Clinton's 50th birthday, and Julia Child's birthday, to the 50th anniversary of
UNICEF. He was most recently the Executive Pastry Chef at the Essex House
in New York City. He is very active in the pastry field here in the United States,
and has taught many young pastry chefs the old traditions and techniques of
french pastry. He is a Board Member of the US Pastry Alliance, and is one of
the judges for the "Best Pastry Chef of the Year." In between teaching courses
at his school in Arizona, he consults for various restaurants and hotels all over
the United States.
